We kicked off the end of 2024 with purpose, managing the event setup for the National Dialogue on Local Government and Constitution Amendment, held on December 2, 2024, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. Convened by the House of Representatives Committee on the Review of the Nigerian Constitution (HCCR) in partnership with the Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC), the event provided a timely platform to engage stakeholders on one of Nigeria’s most pressing governance issues — the need for meaningful autonomy for local governments.
With a focus on addressing the pressing need for meaningful local government autonomy, the event brought together lawmakers, policy experts, civil society leaders, and governance advocates from across the country.
